Who We Are

The Welcoming Place
Grace Lutheran Church was established in February of 1983. The present building was first used in March of 1987. From the very beginning, Grace was a place for people to be active in worship and service.

The people of Grace count fellowship and friendship in Christ as very important parts of daily Christian living. All people are welcome to participate in any part of Church life. Grace is here to be of value and service to others. We are called together by God to share our faith, support and encourage one another, and show our love for God in our care for others.

You are always WELCOME at Grace!

Beliefs. . .
Grace Lutheran Church believes we live each day by God's Grace.

The Cross of Jesus is central. The Holy Spirit, symbolized by a dove, claims us as Christ's own people and keeps us in faith through the power of God's Word which is at work in the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.

Sharing The Bread and Wine
Communion, God's gift of Grace, is offered at each service. Visitors are welcome at the Lord's table.

Children who are not communing are invited to come forward to receive a blessing.

The Grace Council adopted the Speak Your Peace Civility Project resolution.  This means we will use the nine tools of civility when discussing topics.  Anne Lee presented the project to the council and a unanimous vote was made to adopt the resolution.  The rules of civility include:

 1.  Pay Attention.

2.  Listen.

3.  Be Inclusive.

4.  Not Gossip.

5.  Show Respect.

6.  Seek Common Ground.

7.  Repair Damaged Relationships.

8.  Use Constructive Language.

9.  Take Responsibility.

The council felt these tools are helpful in our every day lives!
